Production Coordinator
Job brief
The Production Coordinator is responsible for the physical production and execution of all design work for Daftarkhwan's physical spaces. This role is pivotal in bringing design concepts to life by coordinating with vendors, managing quality control, and ensuring timely delivery and installation across various Daftarkhwan sites.
Responsibilities
​​Physical Production Management

Coordinate the production of design elements intended for Daftarkhwan’s physical spaces, including signage & installations.

Handle on-site work for pre-event preparations, ensuring that all physical designs are properly installed and meet quality standards.
Vendor Coordination

Conduct market runs to identify and evaluate potential vendors for various production needs.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and timelines with vendors to ensure cost-effective and high-quality outputs.

Oversee the production of merchandise items like t-shirts, tote bags, and other branded materials, ensuring that they meet the design department’s standards.
Quality Assurance:

Perform quality checks on all production outputs, ensuring that they align with the design department’s requirements and specifications.

Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that all produced items meet the highest quality standards.
Material Expertise:

Leverage knowledge of various materials such as metal, wood, acrylic, fabrics and others to make informed decisions about the best materials for different design projects.

Stay updated on new materials and production techniques that could enhance the quality and efficiency of design execution.
On-site Coordination

Work across different Daftarkhwan sites to oversee the installation and setup of physical design elements.

Ensure that all installations are completed on time and meet the required safety and aesthetic standards.
Requirements and skills

Experience in Physical Production: Prior experience in managing the physical production and execution of design elements, including installations and event setups.

Vendor Management Skills: Strong ability to conduct market research, evaluate vendors, negotiate terms, and oversee production processes.

Material Knowledge: Proficiency in working with a variety of materials such as metal, wood, acrylic, and fabrics, with an understanding of their application in design projects.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality control, ensuring that all outputs meet the highest standards.

On-site Coordination: Ability to manage on-site work, including pre-event preparations and installation across multiple locations.

Street Smart: Practical problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.

Process-Oriented: Familiarity with process management, including vendor selection and production workflows.

Effective Communication: Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors, the design team, and other stakeholders.
